He's not declaring anything. That's the point. It is what it is, that's basically his message.
So what the #3(( difference does it make what the LDS Church's position is on it? Why did Hatch have to make the usual "disclaimer"?
Considering Hatch used to visit Flora's church as a child, to play piano for the FLDS, I would imagine there is more to his "position" than meets the eye.
What is wrong with him playing the piano at their Church?
This is the strong position on polygamy taken by Utah Senator Orin Hatch, himself a descendant of practicing polygamists.
